We have not yet chosen a park for the 2012 event. In the meantime, here is the schedule for last year's meetup so you can get a sense of the typical schedule for the day.

The park chosen for the 2011 Freethought Day Meetup is Hollywood Studios - formerly known as Disney/MGM Studios.

Hollywood Studios includes Star Tours, which has just been revamped, Toy Story Mania and the Tower of Terror as well as the show Fantasmic. For the little ones there are some great play areas, including a Honey I Shrunk the Kids play area.

The park is officially open at 9am but there is actually magic hours starting at 8 am for guests staying on the property. The park closes at 7pm.

Schedule:

There are several meet ups scheduled throughout the day. You can make all of them or some of them. You can wander about by yourself or wander about with the group. It's your choice, we're all free here. However, it is fun to wander about with the group as that is the best way to meet people and socialize. Consider that a friendly nudge.

9:30: am Morning Meet up - In front of the giant sorcerer's hat. Look for Maria wearing an official lime green t-shirt. She will be the one with the flaming pink hair. We will take group photos and then ride the great movie ride together. (Hint: It's a good idea to get your Toy Story fastpasses prior to this meet up)

11:30 am - Lunch at the Backlot Express (near Star Tours). Counter Service $. We can all ride the new Star Tours together afterwards.

5:30 pm Dinner at Sunset Blvd Food Court - $ You can see Beauty and the Beast beforehand and perhaps ride Tower of Terror or the Rock and Rollercoaster afterwards.

8:00 pm - After Party at Downtown Disney - Meet at Wetzel's Pretzels.
